Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 describe and critically analyse theoretical and practical issues involved in the construction of digital imagery
2 use hardware and software to effectively acquire, access and manipulate source material
3 demonstrate skills in software processes used in digital image making
4 create digital images appropriate to visual art and design
5 On completion of the unit to the grade of credit or higher, students will also be able to: critically appraise their own digital image making and the work of others show evidence of the development of ideas and skills towards final artwork.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
