Unit description

Introduces students to a range of popular and literary genres including memoir, the fantastic, YA fiction and crime fiction. Students will explore these genres in both practical and critical ways, developing writing skills through engaging with close study of aesthetic conventions, textual strategies and critical analysis. Students will receive critical feedback integral to their writing practice and engage in reflection on their own work using analytical and interpretation skills.
