Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
analyse the diverse lived experiences of people who live with disability
define discrimination and discuss its impact on people who live a disability
analyse and apply theories of disablement
critically evaluate how legislation and policy influences the theoretical frameworks and practices used in community organisations
critically analyse practice in this field and recognise hallmarks of good practice.
