    COVID 19 arrangements for session 3, 2020. Online students must attend a mandatory online residential from Wednesday, 18th - Saturday, 21st November, 2020. 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day. Students need to meet participation requirements associated with this unit. Attendance is compulsory.

Unit description

Develops students’ skills in social work communication with a wide range of clients. Enables students to understand the principles of effective interpersonal communication in professional settings, and to reflect critically on the development of their own communication ability. Seeks to introduce students to common approaches to assessing and working with individuals in social work settings.
