Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
integrate animal assessment and veterinary medical knowledge to proficiently triage emergency patients across a range of veterinary species
demonstrate proficiency in planning and performing emergency first aid across a range of veterinary species
demonstrate proficiency in the assessment, monitoring, and management of hospitalised critical care patient
demonstrate proficiency in assessing factors impacting on end of life decisions and care, and communicating these to a range of clients while engaging in reflective practice.
