Unit description

Critically assesses the role of transportation in sustainable development. The complex relations between different transport alternatives and key aspects of society, economy and environment are examined. Transformative possibilities towards more sustainable transport futures are identified and critically assessed.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. appraise the barriers to and facilitators of change in transport systems.
