Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain the key ideas of children’s rights to a variety of audiences
apply a rights-based approach to interpreting and guiding children’s play, learning and behaviour
apply ethical considerations and professional obligations when advocating for and implementing children’s rights in diverse contexts
design and justify strategies that promote children’s participation, voice, and decision-making in learning environments
