Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
articulate conceptual knowledge related to key curriculum areas for children from birth to five years
create a portfolio of resources that can be used to develop conceptual knowledge, and experiences, for each curriculum area using an integrated and holistic approach
argue, with reference to the literature, how the resources will support the conceptual development of children’s learning of key curriculum knowledge
link the chosen resources to the EYLF and the NQS
