These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

compare and critique historical and contemporary constructions of childhood and families, including those pertaining to Indigenous Australian Peoples' perspectives and experiences

identify how children develop identity and how teachers and families support a sense of belonging, being, and becoming

explain the diverse range of issues affecting children, families and communities including social, economic and educational policies and their impact upon service provision for children and families

critically analyse texts and images in the construction of childhood, and families across diverse contexts.
