Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

4 show evidence of critical reflection on their pedagogy during their in-school teaching experience

6 expand on their professional portfolio to include key information about the pathway they have selected including support services and contacts within this area and; commit to their ongoing professional learning through the consideration of the opportunities that exist for them as graduates and in consideration of the requirements of accreditation bodies
7 demonstrate their ethical understanding of issues related to their transition from pre- to in-service teacher in their chosen context and; engage in professional dialogue with other professionals about the issues, challenges and possibilities of teaching within a given context.
