On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe the purpose and theoretical underpinnings of working with groups in social work practice
demonstrate an understanding of the social worker's role in working collaboratively with groups and teams in different practice settings
discuss the role of social work in an interdisciplinary team and apply a social work perspective in interdisciplinary team settings
critically reflect on group and teamwork skills
