Unit description

Students have the opportunity to integrate clinical practice and theory and extend and consolidate knowledge and skills required for entry level speech pathology practice.

  • Portfolio development and review
  • Reflective practice
  • Linking theory and practice to professional competencies (reasoning, communication, learning and professionalism)
  • Linking theory and practice to range of practice principles (including evidence based practice, ICF, culturally responsive services and IPP)
  • COMPASS Entry Level in relation to professional competencies and CBOS Units
  • Ethics pertaining to report writing
