Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

2 identify perceptual characteristics of voice disorders

4 demonstrate the processes involved in an appraisal of voice (including perceptual and instrumental measures).
5 demonstrate a variety of culturally competent, discipline specific and interdisciplinary intervention strategies for people with voice disorders.
6 describe planning processes and outcome measures pertinent to voice and laryngenctomy.
7 demonstrate the application of multimodal intervention principles for clients with voice disorders and laryngectomy.
