Unit description

Develops the knowledge and skills required to assess, diagnose and treat swallowing disorders in children and adults. With the focus on laryngology, students will draw on knowledge of human anatomy and physiology as it relates to laryngeal, pharyngeal, articulatory, respiratory and neurological systems and how these systems evolve across the lifespan.
