Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
create profiles of verbal and written communication and literacy by analysing and synthesising samples of data
critically and creatively analyse and interpret the nature of communication and swallowing disorders
develop recommendations based on appraisal of assessment data, integration, and hypotheses of differential diagnosis
employ and convey critical and creative reasoning pertaining to assessment and intervention across ROPAs
design and demonstrate holistic and innovative intervention plans and strategies in situations of co-occurring deficits
apply Speech Pathology Range of Practice principles to scenarios relevant to practice
evaluate and demonstrate meta-awareness of areas of competence for Speech Pathology Practice
