Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
apply principles of evidence-based practice and critical appraisal of research methods in the context of speech pathology practices
evaluate speech pathology assessment practices with reference to critically appraised research evidence
evaluate indications and efficacy of speech pathology intervention practices for client populations with reference to critically appraised research evidence
evaluate how client-related factors, service delivery factors, and clinical experiences may inform clinical decision-making within speech pathology practices.
