Unit description

Students participate in 96hrs of work integrated learning for up to 12 weeks to demonstrate, with a high level of support, competence in assessment of, and intervention for, paediatric clients presenting with communication concerns. Students apply clinical reasoning, professional and interdisciplinary skills to a range of client presentations from diverse service delivery and care settings.

  5. Planning and implementation of speech pathology practice
  6. Working in diverse contexts and telehealth in speech pathology practice

Learning outcomes
