Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe the scope of practice for speech pathology in Australia
describe the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and its relationship to speech pathology practice
identify examples of communication and swallowing impairment in the context of the range of practice areas for speech pathology
reflect on knowledge, skills and experiences to inform future learning and practice
demonstrate professional behaviours relevant to professional practice
