Unit description

Invites students to use their sociological imagination to critically evaluate social changes accompanying the emergence of new information and communication technologies (ICTs). Students will examine the structures and effects of ICTs and social media technologies in relation to civil society, citizen privacy, social inequality, commerce and government.
