Unit description

Provides students with the opportunity to integrate university studies with experience of professional practice. Students apply, practise and extend knowledge and skills developed in their previous studies through a supervised professional placement.

Unit content

Topic 1: Occupational health and safety issues,

Topic 2: Writing a work placement proposal

Topic 3: Ethical practice

Topic 4: Skills of reflective practice

Topic 5: Establishing a diary of reflective practice

Other topics in this unit will be specific to the specific placement
