Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
discuss evidence-based strategies for the inclusion of neurodivergent individuals in varied contexts
explain and critique the processes and strategies for developing inclusive cultures that promote equity, respect, and diversity across various contexts
investigate the relationship between disclosure and safety, focusing on creating supportive environments in varied contexts, that empower individuals to share information confidently while ensuring their well-being
analyse societal barriers to inclusion of neurodivergent individuals, focusing on strategies overcome these barriers and promote equity and acceptance in diverse contexts
