Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain key concepts and terms related to neurodiversity, including neurotypical, neurodivergent, and neurodiverse
explore and challenge myths and stereotypes associated with neurodiversity and the impact on sense of identity and acceptance
examine neurodiversity through an affirmative lens by emphasising inclusive and strengths-based approaches
analyse emerging discourses on neurodiversity in varied contexts
