Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

analyse and manage ethical issues in psychology practice, applying the Code of Conduct, decision-making models, and legal frameworks

demonstrate counselling and interview skills, professional communication, inter-professional collaboration and the ethical use of digital technologies

apply culturally responsive and safe practices when working with socially and culturally diverse clients across the lifespan

engage in reflective practice to evaluate and improve professional competence and wellbeing
