Unit description

Introduces participants to research related to real world engineering, infrastructure, or asset management issues and opportunities in industry. Participants will learn about the research process, identify a suitable issue for research, and identify suitable research tools to address the issue.

Learning outcomes

critically review and synthesise literature with regard to relevant research problems and opportunities

develop, pilot and apply critical research tools that have the potential to solicit required data to analyse a given problem.
