Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain the range of political ideologies which exist within the context of Western political thought
critically explain the dynamic of the ideological spectrum
critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of contrasting ideologies
develop reflective positions on political theory and present these positions as coherent arguments.
