Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe the role of orthomechanical therapies in the treatment of lower limb pathology
evaluate the evidence for the practice of orthomechanical therapy
critique theoretical models of lower limb orthomechanical therapy
describe the characteristics and uses of materials and techniques used in the manufacture of orthotic devices
demonstrate practical techniques in orthomechanical therapy
incorporate orthomechanical intervention into treatment plans
