Unit description

This unit considers the fundamentals of service and its application, and basic design and installation. The unit includes Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), lighting, sustainability, hydraulics, water, gas, fire hydraulic services, and lifts.

examine energy-efficient building service strategies that respond to environmental performance targets, regulatory frameworks, and occupant wellbeing.

apply tools and performance benchmarks to assess the feasibility, sustainability, and compliance of building service applications in complex construction projects.
