Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe building service systems, including HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, and fire safety systems.
propose integrated solutions that meet performance, compliance, and operational requirements.
examine energy-efficient building service strategies that respond to environmental performance targets, regulatory frameworks, and occupant wellbeing.
apply tools and performance benchmarks to assess the feasibility, sustainability, and compliance of building service applications in complex construction projects.
