Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

select and perform physiotherapy assessment of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions of the lower limb, integrating a clinical reasoning framework

design, implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions for neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions of the lower limb, integrating collaborative interprofessional practice

effectively communicate with client, the medical team and other relevant stakeholders

apply person-centred, evidence-based physiotherapy management of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions of the lower limb for optimal client health and well-being, that is collaborative and culturally responsive
