Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
analyse the role of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association and apply its legal and ethical framework within the scope of practice of the diabetes educator
apply evidence based practice to diabetes self-management education and support
apply principles of service planning and management to the delivery of diabetes education in a variety of settings
