Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explore the differences between healthcare systems, policies and practices at national and international levels
critique and distinguish the strengths and weaknesses of private, public, regulated and deregulated healthcare systems, policies and practices
analyse and critique a range of social, cultural, environmental, economic and political factors as well as various types of population health outcomes to evaluate the success of healthcare systems, policies and practices
propose a vision for the success of a healthcare system, policy and practice within health, social and community care settings
