Unit description

Develops students' ability to disseminate their research findings, including communicating them verbally and in writing appropriate to an identified audience and to promote uptake of research findings in practice.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

critically appraise the impact of practice-based research

create a strategy to translate research findings into practice

synthesise key literature, research approaches and findings into verbal and written forms that clearly communicate the research outcomes in a manner that is appropriate for the intended audience.
