Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate skills in taking a full patient case history at an intermediate student practitioner level in an evidence-based context
perform a full patient physical examination in an evidence-based context at the level of an intermediate student practitioner level
implement and explain the diagnostic process at the level of an intermediate student practitioner level with clear direction and ability to develop and explain a management plan and commence a safe, rational and evidence-based treatment independently
demonstrate professional behaviour and attitudes, including efficient time management, recording skills, reflective practice, teamwork and collaboration
