Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
critically analyse and understand evidence-informed osteopathic health care and scope of practice
develop and negotiate safe and contextually-relevant patient-centred care including discussion of options for management
appraise the evidence of high velocity manipulative techniques in the lumbar spine, pelvis and lower limbs
demonstrate the safe and effective use of high velocity manipulative techniques, including practitioner self-care
