Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

critically analyse questions about the evidence basis of osteopathic health care

develop and reflect upon safe and contextually-relevant patient handling and interactive skills

analyse and interpret relevant information to support clinical reasoning for advanced osteopathic diagnosis and management (integrative neuromusculoskeletal)

appraise the evidence pertaining to the use of high velocity manipulative techniques in the lumbar spine, pelvis and lower limbs

demonstrate the safe and effective use of high velocity manipulative techniques.
