Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
critically discuss how osteopathic principles and evidence-based practice are integrated in diagnosis and treatment
reflect upon and demonstrate safe and competent patient handling and interactive skills
demonstrate and explain osteopathic diagnosis, ranges of motion and barriers
demonstrate and explain Muscle Energy Technique (MET)
identify and describe the key misconceptions related to the cause and experience of pain
identify and critically reflect upon skills and behaviour required to be a reflective practitioner.
