Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate knowledge of advanced clinical and developmental anatomy of the trunk, vertebral column and pelvic girdle regions
demonstrate knowledge of advanced functional and developmental anatomy of the trunk, vertebral column and pelvic girdle regions.
describe the general mechanical properties of biological tissues, and the kinematics of human movement of the trunk, vertebral column and pelvic girdle regions
understand and explain the functional relationship of anatomical features and biomechanics of the vertebral column and pelvic girdle
