Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
reflect on the principles of osteopathic medicine, particularly in relation to a holistic health paradigm
explain the accepted scope of osteopathic practice in the Australian and international health sectors
demonstrate and explain the basic concepts of osteopathic diagnosis
demonstrate and reflect upon safe and effective basic soft tissue skills, body handling and practitioner self-care
