Learning outcomes

These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

apply theoretical models to assess the impact of home and community environments on occupational performance

use relevant theoretical frameworks and legislations to recommend appropriate strategies to address occupational performance issues

promote participation in occupations and advocate for occupational justice for clients within the home and community

demonstrate professional skills, communication and cultural responsiveness required for occupational therapy practice within the home and community
