Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe the philosophy, focus and scope of occupational therapy
investigate and document views of health that have shaped the occupational therapy profession including those of the World Health Organisation
investigate, analyse and document information about occupations, health and well being through professional interviewing
demonstrate ethical and professional communication skills that reflect professional values in occupational therapy
demonstrate key professional behaviours and meet all professional experience requirements in preparation for practice education placements
