Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate safe pharmacological therapy to provide person-centred care for those with a chronic illness or disability
apply evidence-based principles to nursing interventions related to human responses, narratives and cultural considerations for individuals, groups and carers to health breakdown in the context of chronic illness
demonstrate knowledge of the pathophysiology and aetiology of respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, integumentary, and central nervous system health breakdown.
