As some of these can take up to 5 months to complete, you must prepare now. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in you being unable to undertake the stipulated Laboratory Activity and/or Professional Experience Learning which may result in failure of the unit. Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate a range of physical, psychosocial and cognitive assessment skills to inform nursing interventions to provide person-centred care and that are cognisant of cultural sensitivity and awareness

develop an understanding of the use of evidence-based nursing to inform nursing practices

demonstrate medication administration in a safe and competent manner

use a range of data management techniques to document holistic care
