Unit description

Focuses on an identified area for improvement in the work setting. A variety of change management models will be explored. Students will be given the opportunity to either enhance their work practices by identifying and implementing a change to their workplace or formulating a plan to expand their own nursing practice by increasing their adoption of areas with the scope of practice.

  1. Primary Health Care nursing in Australia and internationally
  2. Quality improvement principles
  3. Application of a range of change management tools for work environment enhancement
  4. Application of a range of change management tools for personal practice enhancement
