1 analyse the current healthcare system in Australia and identify how the social determinants of health impact different communities within Australia
2 critically examine the current primary healthcare reform in Australia and analyse the impact this will have on sustainability and how nursing in primary health care will be delivered into the future
3 identify the diverse population groups in the community and integrate knowledge of primary health care to develop a healthcare initiative to address the needs of that community
4 analyse the role of health literacy, communication and education on health outcomes for individuals, families and communities in diverse population groups
5 identify and analyse state, national and global health priorities in the primary healthcare context and develop an understanding of the strategies and goals behind service delivery, policy and management.
