Unit description

Explores the preoperative planning and assessment phase and enables students to expand their knowledge and skills in a range of areas. Students work with a clinical mentor to practise skills in a lifelike setting and gain feedback on performance. Students are also given the opportunity to apply principles of general surgery to a selected area of surgical specialty.
