On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

describe the classification and aetiology of functional and organic psychiatric pathology
analyse the integrative management of mental health conditions
critically describe the integrative approaches to mental health
analyse the role of the therapeutic relationship in mental health
recognise mental health emergencies and the application of mental health first aid
