Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

describe the applications of metaparadigms and theoretical frameworks in naturopathic medicine

demonstrate a critical understanding of the relationship between biomedicine and naturopathic practice

analyse global developments in naturopathic medicine

critically evaluate the application of naturopathic philosophy in contemporary clinical practice

critically examine the modernisation of naturopathic medicine and its distinction from other health disciplines

demonstrate a critical understanding of evidence-based clinical decision making in contemporary clinical practice
