Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain the evidence-based practice paradigm and the role of translational science in contemporary health care and health policy
apply concepts of implementation science within a healthcare context and evidence-based decision making, including the implementation and de-implementation of health care practices
critically examine the methods for evaluating the processes and outcomes of evidence translation and implementation, including changes in practice and policy
analyse the mechanisms for delivering sustainable change in health care and health policy
