Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain the evidence-based practice paradigm
explain the role of translational science in contemporary health care and health policy
demonstrate a deep understanding of implementation science within a health context, including the implementation and de-implementation of health care practices
demonstrate application of evidence-based practice, translational science and implementation science to evidence-based decision making
critically examine the methods for evaluating the processes and outcomes of evidence translation and implementation, including changes in practice and policy
analyse the mechanisms for delivering sustainable change in health care and health policy
