Unit description

Amalgamates and utilises the knowledge, concepts and skills developed over the entire sequence of undergraduate study. Students are required to demonstrate their ability to practice at the level of a beginning registered midwife, including the role of educator. Interview preparation is undertaken.

  • Meeting the four domains of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Competency Standards for the Midwife
  • Quality improvement
  • Preparation for employment
