Unit description

Develops students’ skills in the design, management and evaluation of effective stakeholder engagement processes in engineering environments. Theories and frameworks are explored to enable students to consider appropriate strategies for managing participation. A case study will provide students with the opportunity to explore stakeholder engagement, and reflect on and evaluate effective engineering management processes.

Leading practice stakeholder engagement frameworks

Factors to determine appropriate engagement strategies

Developing stakeholder engagement plans

Case studies of effective stakeholder engagement in engineering management contexts

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
